

Dr. Philip O'Connor
Dr. O'Connor is a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Leeds ,UK. He has over 25 years of sports imaging experience predominantly in soccer, cricket, golf, athletics and rugby and was the imaging lead for the London 2012 Olympics, 2002 Commonwealth Games and 2003 WIA Championship in UK. Dr O’Connor is a member of the IOC and European tour professional golf association medical advisory boards. In research Dr O’Connor is an International expert on MSK imaging who lectures globally with over 200 peer reviewed publications on ultrasound and MR imaging in sports and musculoskeletal disease.
Dr. Steven James
Dr. James is a specialist consultant musculoskeletal radiologist whose NHS base is the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham. After undertaking his radiology training in Nottingham, he completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London. He has co-authored over 75 peer reviewed scientific papers and maintains a strong research and academic interest. He lectures regularly at both a national and international level. Dr James has developed a particular interest in the diagnosis of sports related injuries and provides imaging services for a wide variety of professional and elite sports organisations. He was a member of the Medical team for the London 2012 Olympics.


Dr. Philip Robinson
Dr Philip Robinson is a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and Honorary Clinical Associate Professor University of Leeds and Leeds Musculoskeletal Biomedical Research Centre, UK. He is a Medical Advisor to the European PGA Golf Tour and helped organize imaging services for the 2002 Commonwealth Games, 2003 World Indoor Athletics Championships and the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Prof. Mark Gillett
Professor Gillett was appointed as the Chief Medical Advisor to the Premier League in November 2018 after a decade of experience as a team physician and performance director in the league. He qualified in 1992 and completed higher specialist training in Emergency Medicine in the West Midlands in 2003. He has a MSc in Sports Science from the University of Nottingham and is a founding fellow of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine UK. From 2003-2008 he worked for the English Institute of Sport as a sports physician and in 2008 he became first team doctor at Chelsea Fc, before moving to WBA FC as Director of Performance in 2010 and onto Nottingham Forest in 2018
